Our Identity & Locations
Today,
the Sisters of St. Chretienne remain an international congregation
of nearly two hundred members. We minister in the United States in
Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine and Florida.
Because we are a small congregation we are in close contact with our Sisters in Canada, France, Georgia, Austria and especially with our missionaries in Rwanda, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Tanzania, in Africa.We gather in community in the spirit of the Holy Family of Nazareth, sharing our faith and our giftedness, in hospitality, simplicity and joy.
We are involved in serving in all types of ministry including, but not limited to: nursing, hospice care, education, pastoral work, and social services.
Wherever we are and whatever we do, the Love of Christ impels us to announce the Good News of the Father’s Love and Mercy to all, especially to the poor and the lowly.
